What's a Spiedie? As our famous t-shirts will tell you, it’s a tasty treat of marinated meat, char-broiled and fed on Italian sliced bread.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
2 ½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or lamb
1 bottle Salamida State Fair Spiedie Marinade
6 slices of Italian bread or sub rolls
Italian Gourmet Pinch Seasoning Blend
WHAT TO DO:
Shake and pour the Salamida’s Spiedie Marinade over the meat
Mix well, cover, and refrigerate for at least 24 hours
Be sure that the meat is fully submerged - and to maximize the flavors, stir once or twice throughout the marinating process
Place on the grill over medium heat, turning frequently
Grill for about 10 - 12 minutes
During grilling process, sprinkle spiedies with Salamida Italian Gourmet Pinch
*Optional: Add grilled peppers and onions for maximum taste results.
